Extended ACL

Domino has supported a feature called Extended ACL, or "xACL" for about a decade. This feature can be used to impose a finer level of control over read/modify/create access to elements in the Domino Directory -- at the form level and even at the individual field level. The Domino server administration documentation includes an example xACL configuration that denies all non-Administrative users access to all configuration data. Naturally, as in all security issues, there may be some trade-offs in performance and convenience.
